A big hoorah and a Guinness Record for the most excessive camera with 158 lenses

Professor Yojiro Ishino who happens to be a teacher at Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan, along with a few of his students all seem to be photography buffs unlike the world has ever seen. In fact their concept and design for a camera is so radical and outrageous it got certified as a bonafied Guinness World Record holder. What did they do? Well nothing much other than ‘develop’ (sorry about that awful camera pun) a camera that was equipped with a total of 158 lenses. The lenses were lined up in series consisting of four rows forming a horseshoe-like shape. The oddest thing is they what they used it to take pictures of. A flickering flame! From multiple angles of course. Not that makes me understand that any better. It took the team 6 long months to build the device setting them back a bundle as each lens cost them about $2.10.
