• Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari Edition handset will run Android 2.3, expected to hit shelves soon

  • Acer has rekindled its romance with Ferrari by unveiled the Liquid Mini Ferrari Edition smartphone. The Android device has specs like 3.2-inch HVGA (480×320 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, 600MHz ARM 11 CPU, 512MB of RAM micro SD card slot with 8GB card included and bunch of standard communication features. The exterior of the phone is catchy with the red casing and chrome trim. The ‘prancing horse’ logo is icing on the cake and this time Acer has also pre-loaded some Ferrari themed content on the device like Ferrari engine ringtones as well as preloaded wallpapers, pictures and videos.

    The Android smartphone will ship with a Ferrari-branded Bluetooth headset that boasts of noise and echo cancellation, and automatic adjustment of incoming call volume. No word on pricing and availability though.
