• Acer Tablet expected to launch with Android in July

  • 0173Tablets with Honeycomb are the rage at the moment and that’s what brings the news of the 10-inch Acer tablet with such good tidings. The tablet is powered by Intel’s Oak Trail processor, reminding us of the fading friendship between Android and ARM. The tablet will be available in a 10-inch avatar. It will be among the lesser hyped but better liked tablets that have come in post-Galaxy Tab. Honeycomb has gone down fairly well tablet users and there’s no reason why this Acer model should receive any different attention.

Following Acer on this note are most likely, Lenovo and Asutek. This announcement also tells us about the shaky relationship between Intel and Microsoft. We’ll see what’s to prove at the launch, in July.
