• Aerofex develops Star Wars-inspired hoverbikes

  • Remember them Star Wars hoverbikes that we’ve spent hours day-dreaming about? Well, you could now pretty much own one of these splendid modes of transport, assured to grab a load of attention as you fly by, literally. By Aerofex, this model still requires a few tweaks until it flies as smooth as those in the movies, but for now, it does do a marvelous job of hovering around. Sporting intuitive controls making it easier to maneuver, the Aerofex hoverbike is currently being tested in the Mojave Desert in California and has managed to fly 15 feet off the ground at a speed of 30mph. Also, the covered rotors on this one makes it safer to use and the hoverbike could very well turn into a perfect way to glide across distinct terrains in future without so much of a hiccup!
