• Alcatel One Touch Idol X 5-inch phone offers 13-mp shooter, 1080p delights

Elaborate as teh name may be, there is certain confusion likely with all the phones named ‘One’ and those having an ‘X’ in the model name. Joining ranks of the greater counterparts is the One Touch Idol from the house of Alcatel. It offers a 5-inch display with 1080p capabilities, a really fine bezel (la HTC One?), a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB storage, SD card expansion, 13-megapixel camera, a 2000 mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to run the whole show. Youthful and stylish, the Alcatel One Touch Idol X offers blue, yellow and red colors but what some would really appreciate would be LTE connectivity, that seems absent from the specifications, for now.

There’s no word on the pricing or the availability of the Alcatel One Touch Idol X. This is bound to be an improvement from the earlier One Touch Idol and Idol Ultra.
