Amazon has sold 114 Kindles for every 100 books in the UK, this year
In what could easily be a hard-to-believe statistic, e-book giants, Amazon, whose Kindle range of e-book readers are tearing the scene apart, have more news. It seems that the UK recorded a sale of 114 Kindles for every 100 paperback copies sold, in 2012. Of course, the many-to-one comparison is a shocker but to good measure. The US also recorded such a figure in the not so far future. Does this mean that paperback copies are losing their fame? Time alone shall tell.
