• Army visits Apple, Army Grade iPhone of the horizon?

  • iPhone army
Apple was recently visited by the US Military at their Cupertino, Calif. Office. Relax Apple haters; they were there to talk to Apple about se of Apple products in Army business and battlefield operations. The concept idea behind the meeting was “Connecting Soldiers to Digital Applications”. The army’s plan is to try and have devices, applications and networks designed, with a high level of security in mind of course, that could be utilized in a tactical environment. Now we’re not talking about mobile phones so soldiers in eth field can describe things on twitter or their Facebook profiles but better communication devices for them to connect to home bases seems to be the order of the day. So it’s possible we might just see some hardcore Apple devices make Army Grade status soon.
