Asus enters LCD TV market with TLW32001 32″ LCD TV

Taiwanese Motherboard giant Asustek has entered into the LCD TV market with the TLW32001 32 inch LCD TV for the Taiwan market. Using a Sharp TFT LCD TV panel, the TLW32001 features a resolution of 1366 x 768, a brightness of 500cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. The TV also has a 6ms response time and a viewing angle of 170 degrees, as well as including an HDMI (High Definition Media Interface). Asus plans to release a 42″ model in first quarter 2006. The TLW32001 will have an image aspect ration of 16:9, response time of 6ms, contrast ratio of 1200:1 and brightness of 500cd/m2.
