AT&T to campaign against texting-while-driving
Doing just about anything else at the wheel of your car while you drive can be potentially harmful and that includes turning around to speak to your fellow travelers, eating, twiddling your onboard entertainment system and of course, texting. To keep such occurrences at bay, particularly texting, service provider AT&T has drawn out plans to introduce an awareness campaign worth millions of dollars called the “It Can Wait” initiative. The campaign is particularly addressed to nomophobic folk who simply can’t put their phones to rest and will culminate with a “No Text On Board” pledge day scheduled for the 19th of September.
