• Audi will use Nvidia Tegra to power up their dashboards

    Audi are all set to use the Tegra 2 processors to improve the visuals on their dashboard displays. These will be used for both GPS as well as basic menu systems. According to the company, they will be “equipped with the third-generation multimedia interface system along with technology advances to provide even more sophisticated graphics in the years to come.” Motorists can now get a clearer view and more specific information mined out of their GPS Systems.


    According to Nvidia, who provide Tegra, “The 2011 Audi A8 will have the capability to display Google Earth mapping for navigation and point of interest search – a significant advance above traditional navigation systems.”
