    The third generation of Aurea LED edge-lit LCD HDTV by Philips has a 40 inch panel with 1920×1080 resolutions and also a unique transparent Active Frame with Ambilight Spectra which includes 250 LED lights. It has a NET TV feature which allows users to connect to the web or home networks in wireless mode. It has dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1 450cd/m2 brightness and an ultra fast 2ms response time. Unfortunately no prices and release details have been disclosed by Philips.
