• Axe Young/Mature campaign uses split 3D video that tells two different stories!

  • There is indeed no denying the fact that Axe sure knows how to get people around the globe to buy its deodorants. The brand has recently come up with yet another way to woo its audiences with the ‘Young/Mature’ campaign. Conceptualized by the Ponce Buenos Aires advertising agency, the campaign includes a 3D video that tells a different story, depending on which eye you watch the video with!

Using 3D stereoscopic technology, the advertisement requires users to use 3D glasses. Closing your left eye tells you the exploits of a young woman while shutting your right eye gives viewers a glimpse of an older woman! The advertisement is revolutionary, to say the least, and is probably the first use of 3D in mass-advertising!
