  • axxana phoenix
The Axxana Phoenix is a solid state flash memory disk array which backs up and stores vital data with no need of any remote transfer. So what is new in this? This is claimed to be the toughest data recorder in the world. It can withstand earthquake style shocks of up to 40G and 5000 pounds of pressure. It will also survive 2000 degrees F for one hour followed by 450 F for another 6 hours. There is more. It can also withstand 30 feet of water pressure and a piercing from a 500 pound rod dropped from 10 feet. Now that is really safe! It comes with a battery pack and an antenna to beam data via WiFi or 3G ensuring fail safe computing. Yes, you guessed it right, it’s expensive, six figures expensive!
