Broken iPhones have cost the United States nearly $5.9 billion till date!
The Apple iPhone is a known pocket burner. The smartphone, known for singeing deep holes in our bank accounts continue to do so even when destroyed! According to a recent study by a San Francisco-based consumer electronics protection plan provider called SquareTrade, the broken iPhone industry has cost the United States a whopping $5.9 billion! As per the report, nearly 30% of iPhone users have mortally injured their beloved Apple devices, usually by dropping these in toilets, lakes, pools and the like. More often than not, these accidents lead to broken screens and flooded phones, which in turn aren’t really inexpensive to repair! Also, the Apple iPhone repair industry is expected to skyrocket, with smartphone sales and our clumsiness on the increase.
