Catch the 2012 Olympics in Super Hi Vision at these locations

The OBS (Olympic Broadcasting Organization) along with the BBC will be scheduling screening of the 2002 Olympics at select locations in London, Japan and the USA in Super Hi Vision. The screening will be held at four locations in Japan from July 28 to Aug 12, 2012 (the closing of the Olympics) and from July 27 to August 12, 2012 in Washington and four locations in the UK. Just to refresh your memory Super Hi Vision is to HD what DVD was to the VHS, The system uses a video format with 7680 x 4320 pixels (16 times higher than standard Hi-vision, NHK’s HDTV system) while delivering 24 channels of audio.
