Details of Sony’s 2TB memory stick

I am really amazed and fascinated by the Sony Memory Stick XC which has a storage capacity of 2TB. This super high capacity memory stick uses exFAT file system and some SDXC technology. This memory stick is also capable of transferring at speeds of 480Mbps or about 60MB/s using the USB 2.0. Now that is some really serious speed and flexibility. These new memory sticks will use the same slot technology and will likely be able to support older generation cards. We still don’t what the target market is but I am pretty sure it is going to be the digital cameras first because photographers could use this kind of serious storage space, transfer speed and flexibility.
