• Dr. Dre’s Beats speaker gets decked in pink for Colette’s 16th birthday

  • Colette is a French retailer, celebrating their 16th year of inception and so decided to go all out on crazy bass and sound with the the mighty Dr. Dre and his gizmo inspiration. To mark the occasion permanently, the retailer tied up with Baron Von Fancy, an artist from New York, to create a cool pink version of the Beats by Dr. Dre speaker. Von Fancy is famed for bold lettering on prints and art that make a strong statement. So, ‘Sweet Sixteen’ seems to be just what Colette would like to project as strongly as they can. Now, I wonder what the folks behind Tron could do on their anniversary. Or, may be what the Steampunk fanatics would like to touch up.

There will be only 16 units that will be produced for sale. The Beats By Dre x Colette Beatbox is currently already on sale for about $432.
