• E-ink Smartphone from China may grant a week-long battery life

  • With smartphones getting more capable and applications even more tempting to download, one is constantly pressured to make the most of whatever battery time they have before it runs dry. This problem has been identified by a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Onyx, that is busy developing a phone with E-ink display. Of course, it’s a black and white one but can give you a worry-free experience for a whole week, before you need to charge it again.

The tablet is good to view in bright light as well and is pleasing to the eye. The device may be rolling out sometime next year. We hope to see the same in color though. Simply overkill.
