  • Skatecycle
As the much awaited sequel to Disney’s 1982 film Tron, is set to be released on December 17, we bring to you another latest Tron inspired designs. This latest one comes from Alon Karpman, the IDSA IDEA award winning creator of The Freerider skate cycle, a hub-less two wheeled self-propelling skate-a-ma-thing currently in production. Alon, a Brooklyn based design entrepreneur has created a one-off tribute from his best-selling skatecycle using colors and glow-in-the-dark elements reminiscent of Tron’s signature light cycle. If you haven’t seen the original skatecycle, check out videos of it in action after the jump.

The celebrated fantasy vehicle known as the light cycle has no less given birth to thousands of sketchbooks, and hardcore sci-fi fans alike.
