• Flexible and 0.3mm thick Battery from NEC

    • nec 21NEC has announced a high speed charging, Flexible and super thin battery only 0.3 mm thick. The electrolyte is kept in a Gel State due to which it is possible to bend the battery. The material’s electrochemical reaction speed is fast and it can move the electrolytic ion smoothly as a result of which resistance offered during charging is quiet less. Due to this the battery can be fully charged in only 30 seconds. It is environmental friendly too as harmful substances like Lead are not used. The energy density per square meter is 1mWh.


    nec 11The battery has many applications such as a power source for E-Paper, RFID tag and so on.
