For people with a hearing problem here is the Freedom amplified Phone. A phone whose ringing can be amplified up to 50 dB; it enables you to hear that ringing phone effortlessly. Great for people with mild to moderate hearing loss as the phone is hearing aid compatible. It features an amplified speakerphone, strobe ring indicator, a 95dB loud phone ringer (that can be turned off), voice mail indicator, pop-up Caller ID window, large LCD screen, and a speakerphone with volume control. The UltraClear tone and volume controls allow you to increase both high and low frequencies. The three level speech output controls can amplify your voice up to 12 dB.
The Phone book and Caller ID can store up to 99 names. In case Grand Ma left the phone off the hook by mistake, the Freedom Amplified Phone has a unique feature called the Auto On Hook; it allows the phone to ring, even if the handset is left off the hook for a period of approximately 5-8 minutes. The large 1-inch buttons allow easy dialing and the large backlit LCD screen makes easy viewing. The phone costs $130.
