Fujifilm XF1 point-and-shoot camera makes a style statement at 12-mp

by Gareth Mankoo

Talk about compact shooters and you would pretty much zero in on the Fujifilm line of point-and-shoot cameras. Their latest, the Fujifilm XF1 comes with all that has promise and a cool faux-leather, available in black, tan or red. On the inside, it packs a 2/3-inch 12-megapixel sensor with 25-100mm f/1.8 – f/4.9 lens that’s retractable and offers manual zoom. It smoothly shoots videos at 30fps, bringing forth the awesomeness of 1080p captures, it uses a 3-inch screen to entice you with your own captures.

With an ISO range of 100-12,800 and a $500 price tag, you can pick it up as a higher mid-level compact shooter, without worries. It will go on sale next month though. It will be on display at Photokina however.
