• Gumpert Apollo is the 650hp Street Legal Race Car


    • The Gumpert Apollo is a fast, street legal car that boasts of a 650hp engine encased in a 1100 kilogram (2425 pounds) frame. The Gumpert Apollo is cent percent street legal, with the 4.2L V8 engine thanks to Audi; it pumps out an imposing 627 lbs-ft of torque. This two-seater can prove a stiff competition for cars like the Porsche 911 GT3. It has a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration; and is outfitted with either fiberglass or carbon fiber body panels. This six-speed sequential shifter is Formula 1-influenced.


    The estimated top speed is 224mph, and the 0-62mph time is a mere 3.0 seconds.
