Hasbro’s Furby back with more expressions and iOS apps
For me Hasbro has been my favorite Lego based sci-fi toy maker, for others it has been synonymous with Furby, its retro toy whose existence dates back to the late 90s. Come 2012 and Hasbro is back with the Furby in its new avatar with re-designed body and complementary iOS apps. Like nothing in 2012 comes without iPhone support, so how could the Furby? You can feed the robotic toy with the iPhone or interact with it using the iPhone, all thanks to those complementary iOS apps. Furby is stuffed in with motors and sensors to be more 2012ish and has bright LEDs for eyes with mechanical eyelids to carry out various
expressions.

Multiple Furbies can interact with each other they can dance to music or show up variety of expressions to be the notorious little kids you’d want in the house. Stick up AA batteries into the Furby and there you’ll have the little notorious robot chatting endlessly until of course you remove the batteries, which will not harm the toy in any way. Scheduled to release this fall for kids aged 6 and up, the Furby will be priced at $60, anyone?
