Hibino announces new Chroma LED displays with industry’s narrowest pitch of 4mm

More on the 3D front has Hibino Corp. showing off a new 3D LED display that’s available in two variants – a Chroma LED 3D4 (pixels/LEDs arrayed with pitch of 4mm, industry’s narrowest) and Chroma LED 3D6 (pixel pitch is 6mm). Primarily these new displays are designed for exhibitions, events, concerts, museums displays etc. etc. Both the new designs have technology that’s based on “dot-by-dot method”. This technology, in a nutshell, alternately arranges video signals for the right eye and the left eye on each dot (each dot is equipped with a circularly-polarized filter) for use with passive circularly-polarized glasses. This enhances the viewing angle of each display. It’s still a work in progress but we should be seeing this kind of 3D displays in public arenas soon.
