With more and more mobile phones multi tasking as multimedia devices the market for dedicated PMPs are showing the first signs of being outdated. Nevertheless, iRiver has decided to launch an upgrade to its line of players. The iRiver P20 sports a 4.1-inch OLED touchscreen (480 x 272), a built-in FM tuner, USB 2.0 connectivity, and support for many file formats, an optional card reader for extra expansion and a rechargeable battery good for at least nine hours of playback. The most interesting thing about the P20 is the new user interface code-named SPINN, which promises to be more exciting than the D-Click. The PMP will feature almost 80 GB of internal memory and be available by Feb 27 in Japan, costing you around $436. No word yet on its worldwide release as of yet.
