iTree docking station uses an entire tree-trunk to play your iTunes out loud!

Yes we’ve seen a bunch of iPod docking stations before. None of them have left us this impressed before however, when it comes to form factor and innovation that is. Called the iTree, this one’s just what you’d guess it to be from its evident name. An iDevice speaker dock made from an entire tree-trunk, the iTree is a concept design brought to life by KMKG Studio at was shown off at the ICFF recently. A great way to dock your iOS device, play those tunes aloud and bring a bit of nature back home, we’re guessing the iTree could however leave environmentalists irritated.

The very fact that an entire tree is used in the bargain, pretty much unnecessarily to soothe the aesthetic needs of us human beings seems unfair indeed, and KMKG Studios could do better by using felled trees or reclaimed tree-trunks for this concept instead.
