Laptops get motion-controllers, inspired by Kinect

Microsoft Kinect brought independent motion control functions to gaming. This has inspired the world of other gizmos as well. Microsoft brings out the possibility of incorporating the magic of the Kinect platform in laptops. That’s all we have. Some slim word of a possibility that might change the way we compute. The entire Minority-report like navigation and control system may be out for real. And hey, we just hope they cancel out the bulk that the addition of Kinect sensors may cause.

Another issue that tickles my mind is how the company will deal with the proximity issues. Will the user be too close to his device and have to step back for a bit?
