• LG Kids Pad arrives in South Korea for $276, more to follow

  • LG has decided to touch the niche market of tablets for kids. With the launch of last week’s LG Kids Pad, the South Korean company has made it clear that they are in for some really colorful, playful and durable tablets that will be used by tiny tots. It’s a great way to introduce your child to the life of a geek and have them away from your expensive iPad. The tablet will come with its own app store, removable cartridges that carry apps, games and media.

As of now, each LG Kids Pad comes with a cartridge that helps kids learn fluent English. The tablet will also sport a 9-inch display, a camera, an automatic light sensor, MP3 playback and more. The catch? it costs a whopping $276. Let’s hope the ones to follow are less expensive.
