• LG D1L with 4.7 inch display and LTE will take on the Samsung Galaxy S3

  • The Samsung Galaxy S3 launch is just around the corner and its Korean counterpart is working on its own flagship to take on the S3 head on. Codenamed the DL1 which is scheduled to release in May will pack in a 4.7 inch HD (720 x 1280) LCD display, support LTE and 3G, and will run on the Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset and sport a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor. It delivers the same power as a Quad core Arm processor and the smaller chip gives an advantage in chip design. The phone will be the first LG phone to run on the Ice Cream Sandwich. At the moment LG is tight lipped about the D1L they did confirm the project but did not divulge any information on the phones. We are expecting an official release from LG in the coming 3 weeks.
