• Logitech Introduces 5.1 Wireless Surround Sound System

  • logitechLogitech brings to market the industry’s first THX-certified 5.1 speaker system with digital wireless dual rear speakers, which is geared towards the office, home theater, and gaming use. Each of its rear speakers can be positioned anywhere you like (i.e., as long as it is within 8.5 meters (28 feet) from the main speaker system control center). Further, what makes the Logitech design innovative is that each of the rear speakers has a built-in wireless receiver and power amplifier. This is unlike other wireless surround systems in the market which makes use of only one wireless receiver for the back of the room with speaker cable extending to each of the two rear speakers. All that is required for the Logitech Z-5450 rear speakers is a power outlet. The Logitech Z-5450 digital wireless surround sound system is available for approximately US $499.99.
