• Look out K.I.T.T., Batmobile, Ford’s got a new Fiesta that can Tweet

  • twitter car
Ford’s new Fiesta hatchback for 2011 is called AJ and he’s quite the social networker. AJ is currently being tested by Ford engineers, like any other car would, but the method of gathering data is just a little out of the box. AJ is connected to a social networking system, of sorts, called the “Auto”matic Blog. What the car does is ‘tweet’ i.e. sends information across to this app about the how the car is functioning. It sends information about speed, braking), use of the windshield wipers, steering wheel etc. GPS in a real-time environment and the engineers apparently re-write the hard data into more cheery tweet-like phrases. All hail the first Tweeting Car.
