Metropole Orchestra plays to tweets
Twitter is like a constant little paradise of information and interaction that’s seldom inactive. To leverage this fact and enhance the levels of interaction with the world outside, the folks at Metropole Orchestra created a unique means of reading out tweets. Behold, Tweephony, an innovative endeavor by the Metropole Orchestra, supported by Havas Worldwide Amsterdam and Perfect Fools, which enables users to visit the campaign site and generate their very own music. Users can also listen to compositions by others. The tweeted musical notes will be translated into letters associated with them.

All of this culminates with the live performance of the orchestra on October 26th, where they will pick the best tweets and cover the music by them in a concert. The videos of the same will be posted on YouTube. Surely, an effort that will give the Metropole a lot more ear and appreciation than ever before.
