Microsoft rumored to develop smartphone
Microsoft has never had much to do with hardware before, particularly the world of smartphone handsets. The company has rolled out operating platforms for the same, but hasn’t really manufactured a stand-alone phone of its own, despite its potential to do so. We’ve just heard a whisper of Microsoft’s plans to develop a smartphone of its own!

The news comes from a report in the Wall Street Journal. The article went on to state, “Officials at some of Microsoft’s parts suppliers, who declined to be named, said the Redmond, Wash.-based company is testing a smartphone design but isn’t sure if a product will go into mass production.” Well, if it’s true indeed, we’re convinced Microsoft will pull out a smartphone that will give its peers stiff competition.
