• Microsoft offers $44.6 billion for Yahoo. Shareholders rejoice

    • steve ballmer yahooIn its bid to gain control over the Internet Microsoft has offered $44.6 billion for Yahoo. The deal will be in cash and stock in cash and stock and will give Microsoft a boost in the online services market. Microsoft’s bid $31 per share for Yahoo, representing a 62 percent premium to Yahoo’s closing stock price Thursday. Sadly I dont have YHOO in my portfolio.
