Miniature fully-functional V12 engine designed by Spanish engineer is the world’s smallest
You might have seen and heard V12 engines rumbling in the backs of Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and Ferraris. What we’ve got here, is the world’s smallest V12 engine ever created! Chiseled out by Spanish engineer Patelo, this intricately designed tiny V12 took 1,200 hours to create from aluminum, bronze and stainless steel. With pistons measuring 11.3 mm in diameter and with a total displacement of 12 cubic centimeters, the engine powers up with compressed air injected at 0.1kg/sq cm. using a total of 261 handcrafted pieces and 222 screws, this fully-functional miniature V12 is more than just a piece of engineering and is the embodiment of art and technology. Now don’t go expecting this one to roar like them good old Lamborghinis!
