NeuroOn: Brainwave-monitoring sleep mask can keep you awake and fresh for over 20 hours a day!
Some may argue that every minute spent tossing and turning on bed is eventually helpful for the overall well-being of a person. However, the NeuroOn sleep mask ensures that you do not spend any sleeping time in vain. It uses the principle of Polyphasic sleep patterns, which help you sleep for multiple short periods throughout the day. By monitoring your brainwaves, the mask monitors your brainwaves and wakes you up gently, at the right moments. So you have your sleep in short intervals and are still able to stay refreshed. A claim states that this could well cut your sleep back to just two hours in a day. Intelclinic have specially created the NeruoOn sleep mask to monitor your brainwaves, helping you move from monophasic to polyphasic sleep.
As of now, the mask is a Kickstarter project. To see the light of day, it aspires to collect a total of $225. The information captured from the app includes biological signals such as brainwaves (EEG), muscle tension (EMG) and eye movements (EOG). This data is then transmitted wirelessly to a smart phone via Bluetooth and analyzed by the accompanying app.
