• New Zealand now plays home to the Hobbit-themed extremely awesome Green Dragon pub

    • Whoever said the Middle Earth does not exist? Well, Lord of the Rings fans have now got a swank new place to hang out, especially if they live in or are visiting New Zealand. Behold the Green Dragon pub, themed after the Hobbit. Located at Matamata, this is one of those pubs that make you look up from the menu and actually give a damn about the quality of service, simply because the place is sheer eye-candy!

    The place was officially opened by the New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and is located in Hobbiton where the movies were filmed. Also, as expected, the place is extremely well-detailed. And it’s not just the interiors that have left us jaw-dropped. The Green Dragon also includes breath-taking exterior detail, complete with a tiny water body in proximity!
