Newly unveiled Fisker Atlantic electric car uses BMW- gas powered range extender engine
For those familiar with the automotive genius of the manufacturer Fisker, you’d probably have stumbled across the splendidly and somewhat unconventionally designed cars rolled out by the firm. Here’s one more. Called the Atlantic, this long-awaited ride is the successor of its larger and older sibling, the Karma. Sporting a four-cylinder BMW-sourced engine that works as a range extender for this electricity-powered slab, the car will rely on an electric powertrain to move. Stated to be priced as much as an Audi A5, which to our knowledge comes with a price tag of about $40,000 or more, this car’s designed to be friendlier on the pocket than the $102,000 Karma.
