Nintendo Club offers Super Mario Bros 25th Anniversary goodies for a heavy price

Super Mario Bros turning 25 has unleashed a whole lot of memorabilia for the fans. Club Nintendo, the American version of the Japanese club, has also added a few special edition goodies to the range. If you’re unaware of what this club is all about, it lets you register your Nintendo published games on the site and get Coins for the same which are actually points. These points can be exchanged for all kinds of neat stuff – playing cards, posters, exclusive games and now they’ve included a set of commemorative pins to the collection. The problem is each pin will set you back a good 450 coins which translates to a whole lot mess of points gained by registrations and other things. Even in game point terms, this is expensive keeping in mind that you get 30 Coins for registering a DS game and 50 Coins for a Wii game. So you will need to register nine Wii games or 15 DS titles to get just one fancy Mario pin.
