• Nokia Lumia 505 emerges as entry level offering, 8-mp camera

  • Nokia has brought in a new option for an entry-level Windows Phone today. The Nokia Lumia 505 will sport a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 800×480. Inside, there aren’t many songs sung in praise of the likely processor. It may go down as a single-core CPU-powered device after all. Also, one may find 256MB internal memory and 4GB on-board storage along with an 8-megapixel camera at the rear. It’s surprising that Nokia includes these in their low-end phones. The phone will run on a 1300 mAh battery, powered by Windows 7.5, with no upgrade option.

It looks like a blast from the past in the Nokia kitchen, materializing back into life with the entry level tag on it. The phone is expected to arrive at Telcel in Mexico and will be available in the coming weeks. You can pick it up in pink, black, and red.
