Nokia unveils new JBL PlayUp portable Bluetooth speakers with NFC technology
Nokia has been suffering the rising dawn of the Android since quite a while now and struggling to keep its head above the surface, the Finnish phone manufacturer has now come up with attractive Bluetooth speakers that we’ve found out to be more than just colorful pieces of plastic nonsense. Designed similarly like the Play 360° speaker, the new Nokia JBL PlayUp range comes with an independent bass port and an output of up to 89dB and is designed to compliment Nokia’s Lumia smartphone series. Sporting NFC capabilities along with a 3.5mm input with a cord included, the PlayUp measures in at just 118 x 118 x 128mm and weighs 760g, making this portable speaker system ideal to carry and use outdoors. Made from double-shot plastic and available in a bunch of Lumia-esque colors, the Nokia JBL PlayUp is expected to pop up on store shelves by the end of the year, priced at about $200 a piece.
