Nokia unveils the Asha 309, an affordable and feature-rich phone

There certainly is no dearth of smartphones today. These however more often than not burn your pockets to smithereens. Nokia has just pulled out a feature-rich phone, sporting just about everything you’d need on the go. Called the Nokia Asha 309, this one’s the newest addition to the Asha Touch series and is well-designed. The phone comes with a ‘swipe’ user interface’ along with an open-environment, allowing third-party application development. Sporting a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen and a reasonable 2-megapixel camera, the Asha 309 sports Internet connectivity, all the applications you’d need, maps, social networking and games.
