Everything to do with smartphones these days seem to revolve around sweet-meats. Take all those Android versions for instance. Now, we have Nokia adapting the analogy of something sweet into something that could well leave a bitter aftertaste. The recent tweet by Nokia Germany shows an Android phone snapped in half with crumbs and debris flying all over the place, similar to KitKat’s immortal advertising campaigns. In addition to this, they also carried along a tagline saying, ‘Have a break’. May be this speaks about the becoming of a different phase in the smartphone market, where some non-Android phone may command dominance. On closer inspection, the phone looks like a Samsung Galaxy S3.
This has everything to do with the recent announcement of Android 4.4 KitKat. Well, as the wars between these manufacturing giants heats up, it’s us the consumers, geeks and ever aware advertising agencies who make merry. Carry on, sweetlings.
