• Now Android-based bots for Japanese home!

  • Called Mirai Sanzo, this Sanyo Homes produced Android-powered cute communication robot will find its way into people’s home in Japan starting tomorrow. One of the earlier breeds of homebots, this little guy (22cm diameter) is part of the Japanese company’s integrated smart home plans made for families of the future. And while the version used in this cute bot is still not clear, Mirai Sanzo is well-equipped to replace a house help or two.The robot comes with a touchscreen, touch sensors, voice recognition, Wi-Fi and can glow in 7 different colors to express emotions. So if want the lights to be dimmed, you just have to say it aloud to the bot and it will be done. Hopefully the robot understands more launguages than Japanese.
