• OnLive cloud gaming app unveiled for Android and iOS devices

  • OnLive has unveiled its cloud gaming apps for Android and iOS devices that lets you play current-generation games on your smartphones and tablets with an optional wireless controller. Its updated control pad here uses “adaptive wireless” to automatically find the best connection with your TV, PC, Mac, Blu-ray player, smartphone or tablet. The app is available for free however the controller here will go on sale on December 9 $49.99/£39.99.

    If you wish to chuck the controller, you’ll still have 25 titles which actually accept the touchscreen of your phone or tablet for input, however for the other 200 titles, the controller is a must. You could pair up as much as 4 controllers with a PC using a bundled USB adapter here and also there is a Bluetooth headset for in-game voice communication.
