Panasonic to show light communication system using LED lighting fixtures
Panasonic will deliver 10 units of LED lighting fixtures (using visible light communication function) with 20 units of dedicated receiver modules at the Pokemon Adventure Camp at Nagashima Spa Land Amusement Park. Pokemon is every Japanese dream character and playing with lights to collect Pokemon will be fun attraction at the Adventure camp. This game involves holding up modules built into the LED light fixtures with visible light communication function on top of stone pillar or to attach them to the ceiling to answer quiz questions. A mysterious light of ancient ruins is one of the games amid the 15 in the visible light communication attraction.

Visible light communication technology uses light visible to human eye to transmit digital signals indicating IDs. During the game, terminal modules detect the ID to see whether the player has picked the right pillar or not. The Panasonic uses LED lights from Eco Solutions which can also have applications ranging from lighting to signage displays.
