Panasonic USA will start accepting orders for the world’s largest full HD Plasma display which is 103 inches wide today (10th July). First showcased at CES held in January this year the display supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will have a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a 3.8″ pixel pitch. Panasonic says that demand for such super large displays is very high in the USA. The company will be manufacturing 5000 of these displays annually at its high tech factory in Amagasaki – Japan. Out of the 5000 units North America will get a major share of 50%, Europe 20 % and the remaining will be sold in Japan and Asia.
