Panasonic’s wireless Charge Pad keeps your phone juiced up all the time
We aren’t new to wireless chargers we’ve seen a few of these some charging gadgets directly, while some of the likes of the Powermat employing inductive charging. Though, we’d want Panasonic to deliver a new range of self-powering cameras or TVs, so that we don’t need chargers at all, but for now we’ll settle with the safe and stable Charge Pad that can be used to juice up your mobile phones. Panasonic in a technical briefing on the international standard for wireless charging showed the Mobile battery “QE-PL102″ and the wireless Charge Pad “QE-TM101″ that adhere to the international wireless charging norms and delivers 5W output.

The Charge Pad embeds a flat layer of electromagnetic coil within, which allows the pad to charge mobile phones without contact using electromagnetic induction. It can also be used to charge phones with USB or AC adapter if you ever happen to get bored of wireless induction. We say mobile phones only because the charger only delivers 5W of power, which is good enough to power cellphones only. If you are around in Japan you can take home the Charge Pad for about $120.
