Parrot Zik Headphones designed by Philippe Starck unveiled at CES
The partnership of famed product designer Philippe Starck and Parrot resulted into the SOLO Zikmu wireless speaker/dock system at CES this year. However this single speaker wasn’t alone after all for it was accompanied with the launch of Zik headphones packed with futuristic features. There is supporting active noise-cancellation technology, a touch-sensitive panel for tasks such as volume control, Bluetooth pairing, and even Android/iOS compatible apps.

The hallmark feature here is its onboard motion sensors that can detect when you’re not listening to music. When the headphones are simply resting on your shoulder, the music stops playing and the other way round. The makers also claim that the headphones support bone-conduction technology that promises clearer calls. It is slated for a launch this year but exact details on pricing and availability bear a TBA status.
